This policy explains what personal information MBit (mbit-official.com) collects, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you hold under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy law. Last updated: June 2026.

Why We Process It

We disclose personal information only where necessary: payment providers, KYC and identity-verification partners, licensed game providers, and regulators or law enforcement where legally compelled. We do not sell your personal information.
Cross-Border Transfers
Some service providers process data outside Canada. Where that happens, the information may be accessible to courts and authorities in that jurisdiction. We require contractual safeguards from every processor we use and remain accountable for the information under PIPEDA.
How Long We Keep It
Account and transaction records are retained for the period anti-money-laundering rules require — typically five years after the account closes. Marketing preferences are deleted as soon as you withdraw consent. Self-exclusion records are retained for the duration of the exclusion and beyond, precisely so that the exclusion cannot be circumvented.
Security
MBit protects information with 256-bit SSL/TLS in transit, encryption at rest, strict internal access controls and continuous fraud monitoring. No system is perfect: if a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as PIPEDA requires.

MBit is strictly for adults who meet the legal gambling age where they live — 19+ (18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec). We do not knowingly collect information from minors. Any account found to belong to one is closed and the balance forfeited.

We may update this policy. Material changes are announced on mbit-official.com and, where required, by email. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
